A new year often brings a sense of fresh beginnings, and here at GSCU, 2026 is no exception. As we enter the year ahead, we remain focused on what matters most—supporting our members, improving our products and services, and growing together as a credit union.
This year also marks an exciting transition in leadership as I step into the role of President & CEO. We have been preparing internally for several years to ensure a smooth transition and have shared this news with our members throughout 2025. I am honored to continue serving you in this new role.
I’ve been part of the GSCU family since 1986, when I started as a Teller, fresh out of high school. I went on to earn my bachelor’s and then master’s degree attending college part-time while working full-time at the credit union. Over the years, I’ve worked in our branches, gained experience in Compliance, Lending, and Technology, and served as Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer, and Chief Information Officer. During that time, I’ve seen GSCU grow from $36 million in assets to over $730 million, and from fewer than 20 employees to more than 150. It has truly been a privilege to grow alongside this organization and our members.
While our leadership evolves, our mission remains the same. We are committed to offering competitive products, enhancing our digital and in-branch experiences, and delivering the exceptional service you expect—guided by our core values of Respect, Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Passion. These values reflect the cooperative spirit of the credit union principle: people helping people.
Thank you for placing your trust in GSCU as your financial partner. We’re excited to begin another extraordinary year together. If you ever have a question or would like to share feedback, please use our “Talk to the CEO” option on our site.
